Brunner International - Orleans County IDA

Brunner International

Construction of a 41,250-square-foot building to be used as an extension of their existing manufacturing operations.

Incentives:

  • Office of Community Renewal grant
  • IDA-owned land

Outcome:

  • Created 50 jobs
  • Invested $13.5 million
     

Western New York Energy

Western New York Energy is a locally-owned company founded in 2004 to develop the full potential of Western New York's renewable energy resources. The company completed construction of its $90 million facility in November 2007 and began production right away.

Western New York Energy is the first ethanol plant in the northeastern United States.

Incentives:

  • Empire Zone
  • PILOT
  • Office of Community Renewal Grant

Outcome:

  • Created 50 jobs
  • Invested $90 million into local community
